DEFIO intends to create a series of short-documentaries about young creative who, despite their abilities and many years dedicated to developing their skills, are not fully integrated into the art community.
The assumptions of the project
Due to the Covid 19 emergency, the condition of many art and entertainment workers in Europe has become more fragile and many have been forced to put their passion, creativity and talent aside.
Therefore knowledge and know-how may be lost, the efforts of a lifetime wasted and the substratum of culture and art put at risk.
New opportunities
The European Commission has adopted policies in favor of the recovery of cultural and creative enterprises, considered essential for preserving Europe's cultural diversity, strengthening social cohesion and increasing Europe's attractiveness internationally.
The Commission also recommends that SMEs and artists innovate, network and exploit digital tools in order to open up to the entire European market, get in touch with a much larger audience and produce greater value.
The objectives of the DEFIO project
The project aims at creating the environment for participants to demonstrate their qualities and the consistency of their passion through a challenge and an interview which, through subtitles in different languages, can facilitate the access to new markets, channels and opportunities.
